Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Deputy Care Manager at our service in Kingstanding, Birmingham.
This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week. As a Deputy Care Manager you will receive £26,676 per annum.
This CQC Good service consists of 5 bedrooms and is home to individuals who have sensory impairments, learning difficulties and/or mobility impairments.
As a Deputy Care Manager, you will work alongside the Registered Care Manager to help run the home and provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. You will also be a frontline supervisor, supporting the manager to effectively manage a team of staff.
A full manual UK license is required as we have manual company vehicles used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.
Your duties can include:
1. To support individuals / groups within the centre and community.
2. You will assist the manager in the running of the service including rota, supervising, mentoring and leading the team to ensure that all shared responsibilities are fulfilled and systems maintained which guarantee compliance.
3. To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
4. To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
