We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Admin Assistant tocover maternity leave.
The ideal candidate will have previous GP experience andhave worked in a similar role.
The role is for full time hours, working across Monday toFriday, we can offer some flexibility regarding working pattern during ourusual opening hours of 7.30am 6.30pm. Some early starts and late finishes willbe required.
The role might develop into a permanent position, for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
TheManagement Admin Assistant role varies from day to day. The role requires aflexible, dynamic individual who can think on their feet, using their owninitiative and common sense to problem solve issues as they arise, with minimalfuss.
The employee willprovide administrative support to the Practice Manager and wider team, whilstalso managing their own timetable of recurring administrative duties. They willneed excellent prioritisation skills to handle unexpected issues and tasks,whilst also maintaining the delivery of routine administrative work to meetdeadlines.
The scope ofthe role is very broad to meet practice needs. It can include supporting the completionof one-off complex projects to covering reception roles.

Identifyingand anticipating potential problems such as shortage of staff, appointmentavailability, waiting lists, room availability, and raising such issues to PracticeManager.
Receptionsupport
Providingcover and assistance to the Reception Supervisor, ensuring appropriate coverfor the reception/admin teams, and covering ad hoc gaps as part of role.
Assistingthe Reception and Admin team with their roles by providing help and support, aswell as staff training.
Keepingan overview of the daily tasks and roles of varied teams to ensure work isbeing completed in a timely manner.
Supportingcolleagues to maintain an efficient, hardworking, and friendly workingenvironment.
Maintainingexcellent communication across all the team to keep them inform of any changesand assist with leading team meetings.
HR
Supportingthe induction of new staff and medical students, such as timetable planning,handling queries and setting up on SytsmOne.
ITsupport
Managingand resolving all site IT issues.
Completingvariety of administrative tasks within the practice.
Orderingstock and keeping overview of stock supplies to ensure there are sufficientsupplies.
Providingsupport to wider team in the form of helping with queries, tasks and IT issues.
Supportingwith Private work, Deductions, Coding/Workflow, Reception etc as needed.

Promotingand providing excellent customer service.
