The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day
Providing health advice through focused conversations, delivering accurate answers, and ensuring safe dispensing practices.
Your duties will include:
1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
3. Complying with legal and professional requirements in accordance with Boots' guidance.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have
We offer an exciting career opportunity. You should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser.
Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required, with support provided to complete training within 6 months if not already qualified.
Opportunities for further development include achieving NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services to register with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role. Your pay and benefits will reflect your professional development.
