Job Description In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England. The purpose of this role is to write documentation for "in service" components to the required aerospace specifications. Key Responsibilities will include: ? To write and illustrate Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs). ? To write and illustrate Service Bulletins (SBs). ? To write and illustrate Service Information Letters (SILs). ? To write and illustrate Installation Documents. ? To write and illustrate Repair Manuals. ? To write and illustrate AMM/IPC Supplementary Documents. ? To compile T-files and Component DATA Files. ? To compile Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPLs). ? To compile Maintenance Planning Documents (MPDs). ? Job Requirements Candidate skills: Degree/Diploma qualified (or relevant experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Excellent working knowledge of ATA and S1000D procedures and specifications. Excellent working knowledge of Boeing D6 and Airbus CDIM. Excellent working knowledge of Epic Editor SGML, XML Editor, IsoDraw, ASD-STE100 and manipulation of Catia V4/5. Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Able to organise, prioritise and achieve objectives. Have the ability to think strategically whilst being comfortable employing a hands-on approach. Ability to communicate at all levels. Demonstrate technical understanding and enthusiasm. Hard working, pro-active, motivated and an achiever. Full Drivers License Flexible approach to working hours (overtime sometimes required).
