Our client, a reputable high school based in Chelmsford, is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a wide range of students, fostering a love for Maths while guiding them to success in their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5).
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEN.
* Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and problem-solving.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and targeted interventions.
* Prepare students for external exams, including GCSEs, through tailored lessons and revision sessions.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and share best practices.
* Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and other staff to ensure the well-being and academic progress of students.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and a passion for teaching.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students, helping them to achieve their academic potential.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
