We are currently recruiting a People & Inclusion Manager to join our friendly HR team. This is a newly created role that will work closely with our freedom to speak up guardian, the wider organisation, and our system partners. You will be a subject matter expert on the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) agenda, with a proven ability to engage at all levels in a compassionate and engaging manner.
You will be joining an organisation that is committed to being anti-racist, inclusive, and diverse and you will play a vital role in helping us design and deliver the strategic and operational EDI programme. The role will include project management and collating information which you will share through reports and presentations in several forums and meetings. This role will also ensure we meet our obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Equality Duties, whilst leading work both strategically and operationally in implementing the EDI plan and the 6 high impact actions.
The role will work on developing key relationships and engaging with communities and stakeholders to improve the experience of diverse groups that work within our organisation and wider system.

BSW ICB have adopted agile working so this means the successful applicant will predominately be working from home but may be requested to work in any one of the ICB’s office bases across BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire. You will also have a contractual base within the BSW ICB office where your team is based.

The post is a system-wide role working with BSW partners across health, care and the VSCE sector and the internal ICB organisation.
* The post holder will define current processes, facilitate discussions, and advise colleagues on equality, diversity, and inclusion across all system partners and the BSW ICB.
This activity would include leadership and oversight of the NHSE EDI High Impact Action plan, Equality Delivery System, gender pay gap and wider EDI demographic workforce reporting such as WRES and WDES.
