Key Responsibilities
As a Test and Termination Technician at JDR Cable Systems, your key responsibilities will include:
In-process and final testing, termination, and inspection of all manufactured products by and within JDR accordance with individual manufacturing specifications, quality plans, relevant procedures, and any other test criteria laid down by the Design or Quality Departments.
The mechanical assembly of termination parts and subsea connectors, including the swaging of hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and their integration with stab plates, winches, and QRCs, is conducted per manufacturing specifications.
You will also be responsible for being competent in using different resins/moulding materials and the various preparation techniques currently employed within the termination department to ensure conformance of all products manufactured within the JDR.
In addition, you will assist with the training of others to ensure compliance and ensure that the machine and working environment are clean and tidy and comply with Health and Safety requirements/policy.
