Description: Following a period of transformation across the Council and within our own team, we are developing a new People and Strategic Change function, and we are looking for HR professionals to join us and help shape the way forward.We’ve recently moved to a business partner model and have introduced a new role of HR Advisor to the team. We are looking for one HR Business Partner and one HR Advisor who can work with us to help shape this new way of working, challenge existing practices and help us to embed the business partner model across the Council.Alongside this, we are implementing a people and culture strategy to help embed our new values and ensure that our greatest asset – our people, are aligned and working towards our priorities and vision to make Cambridge a united city ‘One Cambridge, Fair for All’. You will be expected to be proactive and provide professional expertise in the full range of HR areas including organisational change, TUPE, management of all employee relations casework, and leading on the development and application of our HR policies.We’re looking for an individual who can establish and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the organisation, including our Trade Unions.
