Up to £35,357 DOE Plus Vehicle and Package

Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit a Fire and Security Engineer to join the team:
The Role:
Installation, testing and commissioning of small works on Intruder Alarm Systems (wired and wireless), CCTV Surveillance Systems Access Control, Fire Systems related equipment, following drawing of electrical layouts and building plans in accordance with NSI, industry standards and relevant Codes of Practice / Policies.
Providing a quality installation in the most methodical and efficient manner, including the ability to digest detailed scope of works, and working drawings

Attending site meetings when required.
Liaising with customers,external agencies, i.e. Alarm Receiving Centres, Manufacturer Technical Support etc.
Production of high-quality commissioning and handover documentation, and as fitted drawings.
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, and have a good understanding of Health and Safety, i.e. Method, Risk Assessments, safe working procedures etc.
Client training and demonstration of systems to explain working and functionality.
Participating in the emergency call out rota (desirable).
Maintaining your vehicle and stock levels to ensure client demands are met.
Call out is 1 in 8 but is optional for small works engineers.
Able to work efficiently on your own or part of a team.
Excellent communicator (both written and verbally)

The Person:
Electrically aware, if not training will be provided.
Ability to install and commission a wide range of electronic systems and mechanical equipment, CCTV cameras, DVRS, NVRS and fire alarm systems.
Ideally trained to Fire BS5839 standards Parts 1 & 5
Ideally trained to Fire BS5839 standards Part 1& 5
Able to work efficiently on your own or part of a team.
Excellent communicator (both written and verbally)

The Package:
Starting salary of up to £35,357 DOE
Permanent full time
Company car or van
33 days annual leave inc bank holidays
Working hours Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week
Travel paid except for the 1st and last 30 minutes of the day
Callout 1 in 7 - £120 standby fee
