Salary Pay Band F / SCP 12-17 / £27,711 - £30,060 pro rata per annum Actual Salary £4,426 - £4,801 per annum 6.5 hours per week / Term time To start as soon as possible The Governors of St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and friendly Teaching Assistant to support for one day per week in our Nursery Class. Working alongside our Early Years Team, they will provide support for the children in the Nursery, providing learning support utilising both the indoor and the outdoor learning environments covering all areas of the Early Years curriculum. The successful candidate will: Work collaboratively and positively with all the staff within the ethos, vision, and values of the school Support pupils physical, academic, social and emotional development and promote independence in a safe, secure environment employing strategies to recognise and reward achievement. To support the learning of individuals and groups of pupils through the provision of the curriculum and to act as a role model, setting high expectations To work with other staff to develop and implement the EYFS curriculum for pupils. To encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others. To observe, record and support the development of pupils to identify individual needs and difficulties and to feed back to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement. To promote the inclusion of all pupils within the school so that they are able to participate in all aspects of school life. To monitor and evaluate pupil’s responses to activities through observation and planned recording of achievement.
