Monday - Friday 9-5:30pm, Hybrid role with up to 2 days per week in the local office
Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience with opportunity for annual bonus

We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Officer to join our established team in Dudley .
Job Overview:
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for analysing spend data to identify cost savings and efficiencies across all Rentokil Initial businesses, ensuring key suppliers are managed under contracts. You will support the Waste and Procurement Manager on projects and activities as they arise, providing day-to-day supplier management on key suppliers and driving the businesses' objectives on sustainability and ethical procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver cost savings
* Provide day-to-day supplier management on key suppliers
* Drive sustainable and ethical procurement strategies
* Run tenders and informal market pricing benchmarking where appropriate
* Manage internal processes related to data gathering
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
* Provide support on the management of the waste category
Requirements:
To be considered for the Procurement Officer role, you will ideally have the following:
Essential:
* 1 year minimum previous procurement experience
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong analytical skills
* Problem-solving skills
* Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
* Confidence and ability to handle difficult conversations
* Strong people skills, with the ability to negotiate and build rapport
Desirable:
* Ability to work well within a team but also independently
* Shows initiative and strives to succeed
* Previous experience with stakeholder management at senior management level
