The Spinney provides specialist support for adults with Autism and Learning disabilities. Our residents may at times present with moderate challenging behaviours.
The service offers 24 hrs support and staff will be expected to provide the support needed to enable the people who use the service to reach their goals and to develop their self-esteem and the skills they need to live as independently as possible. We recognize the importance of choice, but also how hard this can be for someone with autism and Asperger’s syndrome, so we seek to support people to understand what it is to make a choice and the consequences that follow.
