What You Will Be Doing:
1. Monitor, fault-find, maintain, and repair equipment (hydraulic power packs, pumps, gearboxes, conveyor systems, treatment machinery).
2. Conduct scheduled machinery checks and routine maintenance (oiling, cleaning).
3. Replace parts based on service intervals.
4. Check and calibrate equipment for accuracy.
5. Maintain detailed service and maintenance records.
6. Identify, document, and investigate machine damage and faults.
7. Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
8. Ensure compliance with processing plant standards and safety procedures.
9. Read project plans and coordinate with labour crews for installations.
10. Perform MIG, TIG, and other welding methods as required.
About You:
1. Completed a recognised apprenticeship, preferably higher-level.
2. Relevant experience in servicing and repairing heavy plant and machinery.
3. Full driving licence required; company van provided for site visits.
4. Able to work independently, managing time and workload effectively.
5. Communicate effectively with plant operators, site personnel, and customers & build and maintain strong working relationships.
6. Adhere to company policies and health & safety procedures.
7. Work to high standards with strong attention to detail.
