Description
Our client, who is a local housing provider, is seeking a qualified joiner to become an integral part of their responsive repair team.
Duties:-
* Completing Joinery repairs at our customers’ homes and in our empty properties to a high standard
* Ordering materials and managing stock
* Responsible for managing a company vehicle and commuting to/from work in company vehicle
* Ensuring all work orders are completed and minimise follow on work
* Prioritise workloads daily to deliver an excellent customer service
* Completing jobs right first time
* Ensuring safe working practices in line with current Health & Safety policy & procedures
* Maintaining a professional manner whilst completing repairs
Essential Criteria:-
* City & Guilds or NVQ2 or equivalent in Joinery
* Full driving licence
* Experience of working in a customer focussed environment
* Experience of working in the construction sector
* Good Health & Safety knowledge in the workplace
* Willingness to carry out multiskilling in other trades
Desirable Criteria:-
* Social housing experience
* Working in a property maintenance environment
* Ability to use a PDA or electronic job system
Salary: From £15.50 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday 36.25 hours per week
