Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are delighted to be supporting an International Wholesale & Retail focused group, in the search and selection of a Supply Chain Project Manager, based at their Bradford operation.Overseeing the business integration of their latest business acquisition, implementing supply chain systems, processes and best practises, whilst ensuring the business retains excellent service levels to its customer base. The Role: This is a great opportunity to be involved with a forward-thinking business whilst in the midst of a major transformation programme. Involving all areas of the business you will work with cross functional teams to support them in the delivery of projects to ensure the smooth integration of the business.Your previous experience of complex change programmes involving retail and supply chain will enable you to manage multiple projects, with cross functional tasks and involving 3rd Party companies. Responsibilities: · Integrate the supply of goods from a major retailer, ensuring that during this change period our customers are at the forefront of any decisions or plans that we make· Provide project and programme support across all areas of the business· Work with external partners to ensure that plans are integrated, with risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions aligned and proactively managed· Critically evaluating and validating information to understand the underlying requirements of the business and key stakeholders· Collaborate with external and internal customers to understand needs and requirements· Draw on your previous experience of supply chain implementation and retail projects and the impact of change to a business· Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans and on best practice and changing existing processes· Challenge business teams at all levels on best practice and changing existing processes Background: · Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively to a diverse group at all levels as you will be working with teams across the business and alongside operational teams where you will need to add value.
