Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid)
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 DOE
Company Overview:
Our client is an established and dynamic travel company located in the heart of Manchester City Centre. They are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work both from home and in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the company's debt recovery process.
* Monitor the company's financial health through accurate reporting and analysis.
* Ensure the effective management of cash flow.
* Process and assess credit requests from clients and partners.
* Liaise with clients to resolve any issues related to outstanding payments.
* Work closely with other departments to maintain financial records and ensure accurate data reporting.
* Support the finance team with general administrative duties related to credit control.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in a Credit Control or similar financial role.
* Strong understanding of debt recovery and cash flow management.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software (experience with travel industry systems a plus).
* Travel industry experience is desirable, but not essential.
