Un o flaenoriaethau’r Cyngor yw darparu tai fforddiadwy ac i gynorthwyo wrth gyflawni hynny, mae cyfle wedi codi ar gyfer Uwch-swyddog Cynllunio dros dro. Swydd dwy flynedd fydd hon i ddechrau, ond gellid ymestyn hynny am flwyddyn arall os bydd cyllid ar gael.
Bydd deiliad y swydd yn ymdrin ag amrywiaeth o geisiadau cynllunio preswyl ac ymholiadau ynglŷn â thai fforddiadwy, a gallai rhai o’r rheiny fod yn gymhleth a bod angen eu cyfeirio at y Pwyllgor Cynllunio. Mae prif ddyletswyddau a chyfrifoldebau’r swydd yn cynnwys:
• Prosesu ceisiadau cynllunio cymhleth ac amrywiol ar gyfer tai fforddiadwy, gan gynnwys llunio adroddiadau i swyddogion achos a phwyllgorau
• Gweithio dan derfynau amser llym
• Darparu cyngor proffesiynol i’r cyhoedd, aelodau etholedig a datblygwyr drwy ein gwasanaeth cynghori cyn gwneud cais
• Cyflwyno ceisiadau yng nghyfarfodydd y Pwyllgor Cynllunio
• Gweithio’n agos ag amryw dimau mewnol megis Tai, Priffyrdd a Pholisi Cynllunio.
Dylai ymgeiswyr feddu ar Radd neu gymhwyster cyfwerth ym maes Cynllunio Gwlad a Thref neu faes cysylltiedig, bod yn aelod o’r Sefydliad Cynllunio Trefol Brenhinol yng Nghymru, meddu ar wybodaeth ymarferol drylwyr a phrofiad o brosesau rheoli datblygu a meddu ar o leiaf pum mlynedd o brofiad perthnasol ar lefel uwch-swyddog.
Mae'r rôl hon yn cynnig opsiynau gweithio hyblyg ar gyfer cydbwysedd bywyd a gwaith. Gall hyn gynnwys addasu eich diwrnod gwaith a gweithio hybrid, hy cydbwysedd rhwng gweithio yn y swyddfa a gweithio gartref.

To help assist with the Council’s priority to deliver affordable housing, an opportunity has arisen for temporary Senior Planning Officer. The post will be for an initial 2 year period but it may be extended by a further year if funding can be obtained.
The post holder will be deal with a range of residential planning applications and enquiries for affordable housing, some which will be a complex nature which will need to be reported to Planning Committee. The main duties and responsibilities of the post include:
• Processing complex and varied planning applications for affordable housing, including the preparation of case officer/committee reports.
• working to strict deadlines
• Providing professional pre-application advice to the public, members and developers via our pre-application advice service.
• Presenting applications at Planning Committee meetings
• Working closely with a variety of internal teams such as Housing, Highways and Planning Policy.
Candidates should have a Degree or equivalent in Town and Planning or a related discipline, be a member of the RTPI and have comprehensive working knowledge and experience of development management processes and have at least 5 years relevant experience at Senior Officer level.
This role offers flexible working options for a work life balance. This can include adjusting your working day and hybrid working, ie a balance of office and home working.
