Proactively manage accounts and deliver customer service ensuring satisfaction within a supply chain and import/export environment using SAP.
* Manage order handling end to end process updating SAP and disseminating information.
* Liaise with Sales Team and Head office on orders and queries.
* Action shipping advices for deliveries swiftly and accurately.
* Make delivery bookings and monitor bookings made by Freight agents.
* Update cancellations and amendments adding booking details and shipment information.
* Raise and distribute sales invoices for FOB, CIF & DDP customers.
* Challenge existing processes recommending improvements and implementing innovative improvements.
* Develop and monitor performance indicators.
* Provide general administrative support to the team and company.
At least two years of sales support experience in a distribution environment preferably gained in a business with an import/export element.
* Excellent communicator with a strong customer service attitude.
* Organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Able to work on own initiative and function as a team member.
* Able to work in a pressurised environment meeting tight deadlines.
* Proactive quick and willing to learn.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP software system.
* Ability to adapt to changing situations.
