Job Description

The role will encompass overseeing personnel in the workshop and on client sites or vessels, ensuring adherence to safe working practices, conducting final tests on equipment, and creating job-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

Key Responsibilities:
">

* Oversee all personnel in the company workshop and on client sites or vessels.
">
* Ensure adherence to safe working practices and make certain that all employees, contractors, and visitors comply with the company's Health & Safety policies.
">
* Conduct final tests on equipment, update basic drawings in AutoCAD and EPlan, order materials, and assist with on-site surveys and cost estimations for quotes.
">
* Create job-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), manage on-site permits, and monitor Permit to Work Risk Assessments (POWRAs).
">
* Uphold high standards of housekeeping, ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is properly maintained and utilized.
">
* Verify the time-sheets of employees and contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
The ideal candidate should have a minimum Time served Apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 3, experience in supervisory positions, and previous experience in the marine electrical field is beneficial.
