The University Counselling Service are seeking to appoint a new Student Support Manager (Counselling) to lead the team of Counsellors and Specialist Mentors as the head of the service, in meeting the evolving demands of our student and staff body, including the diverse international community, online learning students and those studying in our global campuses, including in Doha, Qatar. The role will also play an important part of the Student Support Management Team, with responsibilities relating to the development of the operation of the University’s support for students in crisis and the management of risk. The postholder will also support the wider teams in Student Support Services through the provision of duty manager cover to support the team on escalations and the management of crisis situations. Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 7, £46,485 - £55,295 per annum, pro rata with placement according to qualifications and experience.
