You will ensure that the properties are maintained in accordance with the service level agreements and to the appropriate quality and standards expected.
You will use your knowledge and experience to prioritize your workload to effect change within the hospital, building a safe environment for clients, visitors, and staff. The multi-skilled demands of the role will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, as well as being trained on new systems.
You will ensure the safe and responsible use and manual handling of equipment while working in potentially hazardous environments (switch/plant rooms and workshops) and/or environmental conditions (confined spaces, heat, cold, wet, and dirty), observing H&S and Codes of Practice.
There is plenty of scope for progression and up-skilling your current knowledge with on-site training and courses that will expand your comprehension of the role. You will be part of a team welcoming a state-of-the-art, leading-edge hospital facility as NMGH is one of the health infrastructure plan (HIP) hospitals to be redeveloped.
