Job summary An exciting opportunity has become available for a Data Assurance Lead to join the Information Services function of the Digital Directorate. The team are responsible for the development and maintenance of the Health Board's Data Assurance function, that is under pinned by the data standards, data quality and corporate reporting functions. This is a key role to help deliver the Health Board's ambition to be a data driven organisation. The post holder will lead on data assurance and act as the lead standards information specialist for the Health Board. There will be a range of opportunities to improve your skills within the Health Board while engaging with a range of roles within Hywel Dda University Health Board as well as Digital Health and Care Wales. The role will be varied and will involve communicating with the internal & external stakeholders & suppliers, responding and acting in a professional manner at all times. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of the Health Board's data standards, data quality and corporate reporting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for key resources, coordinating systems, processes and staff activity to ensure data quality and reliable information throughout the Health Board and to Welsh Government. The post holder will lead on implementation of a range of Health Board data assurance policies, service development and corporate initiatives which may impact across the organisation as agreed with the Head of Information Services.
