We currently have an exciting opportunity to work on a launch brand in a fast-paced, high performing Commercial team on a key asset for GSK. This product has the potential to be a best-in-disease maintenance therapy for patients with refractory chronic cough (RCC). It is a highly selective P2X3 antagonist currently in phase 3 development.
It is estimated that twenty-eight million people suffer from chronic cough, with ten million suffering from RCC for more than a year. Patients with RCC cough 500 times per day on average, leading to isolation, depression, anxiety, urinary incontinence, and rib fractures.
We aim to bring this product to patients with urgency, as ONE global team building ONE global brand.
Reporting to a Senior Global Marketing Director (GMD), this Global Marketing Manager (GMM) will play a critical role developing and executing the Commercial strategy.
Opportunities will exist to partner with global and LOC colleagues and lead co-creation of key activities. This is a highly sought-after development role, offering scope for developing cross-functional leadership and influencing skills, matrix working, strategic thinking and campaign development.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop branded creative campaign and messaging
2. Lead Commercial ABPI signatory review process for the product
3. Lead LauRA implementation for Global Marketing
4. Partner with Medical, other cross-functional partners, external agencies and MCT markets for co-creation of key launch assets
5. Develop and track launch readiness milestones with MCT markets
6. Develop an EE engagement program and virtual Commercial advisory boards
7. Develop a future focused innovative digital strategy, including artificial intelligence/machine learning
8. Utilize internal systems (ie. Launch in a Box) to ensure all Global Commercial materials are readily available for markets to access/localize
9. Use insights and data to help build strategy and support business planning
10. Drive culture of trust, respect, transparency and accountability

2. Bachelor's Degree Required and MBA Preferred
3. 3 plus years of Pharma Marketing experience
4. Track record of leading cross-functionally and ability to lead without authority
5. Feels comfortable speaking up, sharing perspectives and challenging the status quo when necessary
6. Strong learning agility and demonstrated ability to manage complexity
7. Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills
8. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
9. Experience of approval processes and codes of practice for pharmaceutical promotion
10. Ability to listen, act on feedback and provide support and challenge
11. Strong ability to understand and communicate scientific data
12. Ability to translate strategy to tactics
13. Thrives working in a fast paced, complex and often ambiguous environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient
14. 20% travel expected
