We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team within a mainstream Primary School in Lichfield. This is a full-time role with an immediate start date and will run for the remainder of this academic year until July 2025. Duties Work on a 1-1 basis with a child in EYFS who is non-verbal Engage with children to promote their social, emotional, and academic development. Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional assistance. Communicate effectively with children to encourage participation and understanding of lessons. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed. Requirements Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent Experience working with children with SEN within an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and educators. A genuine passion for educating and supporting young learners. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards children's learning experiences.
