We have an opportunity for a Business Account Manager to join our Commercial Team.
Finsbury Food Group is a leading speciality bakery manufacturer. The Business Account Manager’s role is to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers, oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities.
This is a fast-paced role, where the successful candidate will have proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and Board level.
This role offers hybrid working as an option from either our Glasgow or Sheffield site. On occasion, you will be required to attend one of our other sites (Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Cardiff, or Salisbury) for meetings which could be weekly or monthly, depending on the requirement.

This is what you’ll actually do!
As the Business Account Manager, you will serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters and build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. With excellent negotiation skills, you will negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. You will ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
With strong communication skills, you will clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, develop new business with existing clients, and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas while collaborating with the sales team to develop growth opportunities.

1. Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role
2. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and Board level
3. Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
4. Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
5. Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
6. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
8. BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field
