Description
1. Update and maintain purchase invoices and sales invoices register
2. Prepare monthly draft sales invoices
3. Process payments of suppliers invoices
4. Review debit card and credit card expenses reports
5. Review VAT returns and confirm submission with accountants
6. Update Excel sheets/accounting system for all companies
7. Assist in budget preparation for all companies
8. Assist in the production of Management Accounts (Accruals / prepayments / Balance)
9. Review employees' expenses claims and process employees' salary payments
10. Assist with compliance of subsidiaries company
11. Accurate and timely recording of general ledger on dedicated software, according to the company's requirements
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
* A degree or relevant qualification in Accounting & Finance
* Proficiency in using Sage software
* Knowledge of GAAP's financial reporting (beneficial)
* A strong understanding of accounting principles
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
