If so, keep reading as we have an exciting opportunity for you. About the Role We are looking for a Head of Tea Buying and Blending to lead our strategic sourcing and team of world class tea experts. In this role, you will ensure a continuous supply of high-quality, responsibly sourced tea, herbs, and fruit by meeting our forecasted requirements, quality specifications, and cost parameters. As a member of the Supply Leadership Team, you will influence and co-create our sourcing strategy through Taylors Sourcing Approach (TSA) ensuring its successful implementation. You will play a vital role in building and developing strong supplier relationships and networks, championing quality, sustainability, and fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. What We’re Looking For Extensive experience in the tea, fruit, and herbal markets, with any cross-commodity expertise being an advantage. Proven leadership experience in developing and leading a specialised team. Strong industry network and influence within the global tea sector. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action. Strong business acumen, a commercial mindset integrated with a values led approach. Highly numerate, IT-literate, and confident in using data for decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally. Knowledge of the social and environmental challenges within the tea supply chain. Experience in working with key tea-producing regions, with extensive travel to developing countries. Trained and experienced tea taster. This is a full-time role.
