Risk & Compliance Auditor - Key Relationship Management, Sheffield
Kennedys is seeking a legal file auditor to join our Risk & Compliance department, providing expert advice on professional responsibility, risk, and compliance issues. The role is within the Quality and Audit Risk team.
Team
The Risk & Compliance team oversees partnership, risk, and compliance issues, acting as an in-house legal department for regulatory and professional conduct inquiries. The Quality and Audit Risk team manages annual lawyer file audits, business services audits, and assists with client auditing requirements.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver the KRM client audit program for global platinum and development clients.
* Produce timely, high-quality audit reports and monitor corrective actions.
* Discuss audit requirements and findings with team leaders and partners.
* Support the delivery of an effective audit process aligned with ISO 9001 accreditation for UK and overseas offices.
* Contribute to the development of internal audit processes within relevant systems.
* Participate in due diligence processes related to internal or external audits.
Required experience
* At least 3 years' experience in legal file management.
* Supervisory, peer review, or file audit experience is preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and proactive attitude.
* Ability to handle confidential matters discreetly.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Attention to detail.
