To work alongside the Interwell UK Technical Support team in the workplace, whilst following a 4-year graduate apprenticeship engineering programme in conjunction with Robert Gordon’s University.
Job requirements
* Meet the entry requirements of the RGU programme, including BBBB at SQA higher level or equivalent including Maths and a suitable science subject.
* Must be an existing resident in Scotland and have the right to work.
* Must be eligible for SAAS funding.
* Be willing to work hands-on in the workshop as well as apply theoretical knowledge.
* High degree of accuracy.
* Organised and able to carry out multiple tasks in parallel.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to work independently and with others.
* Be willing to travel internationally for training & development.
* Fluent in English – oral and written.
Job responsibilities
* Follow the 4-year graduate apprenticeship engineering programme syllabus provided by Robert Gordon’s University.
* Work as part of the Technical Support team delivering practical and theoretical assistance to our Sales, Operations, and workshop teams.
* Gain detailed hands-on and theoretical knowledge of Interwell products.
* Gain exposure to multiple areas of the business including workshop, operations & engineering.
* Conduct CAD modelling, drawings of products, and supporting documentation to meet client specifications, concentrating on clarity and detail.
* Arrange procurement of parts from machine shops and 3rd party suppliers as required.
* Assist with fast-track Design and Development projects.
* Assist with the review of technical design information (PRS forms) for new product developments.
* Provide assistance with the non-conformance process for manufactured, purchased, and assembled products and parts.
* Assist with any equipment investigations.
* Assist with product validation/verification tests and documentation.
* Shadow client meetings with other team members.
* Travel to other regions for training and development.
* Network with local professional organisations such as ICOTA young professionals, IMechE, etc.
