We are working with a top tier main contractor who is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to join their Pre-Construction Department on a full-time basis in the Power and Utilities sectors. As the Pre-Construction Manager, you will predominantly be planning and designing cable routes, managing feasibility studies/reports, producing paving schedules, managing tender programmes, and supporting the estimating team.

Responsibilities:
1. Support the pre-construction/bid team at the tender stage, providing them with route surveys, paving schedules, and tender programmes.
2. Manage and assist in feasibility studies, surveys/reports, and communicate the progress of the project regarding time, cost, and quality.
3. Produce reports, presentations, and drawings/designs as required.
4. Be prepared to be both site and office-based to lead all aspects of pre-construction activity.
5. Ensure all legal and statutory requirements associated with operational and commercial works are met, particularly those necessary to meet the requirements of the New Road & Streetworks Act, Electricity at Work Act, and distribution safety rules.
6. Liaise with Highways Authorities, Clients and their clients, Utilities Representatives, and internal colleagues.
7. Understand the contractual obligations of the project to ensure full compliance with the client's requirements and manage the documentation professionally.
8. Understand CDM regulations to provide a service expected by many blue-chip clients.
What do we need from you?
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pre-Construction or Project Manager position.
2. NRSWA - Streetworks qualification.
3. CITB or equivalent in Site Safety Management (SSSTS).
4. CSCS Card.
5. HSG47.
6. Competent in the use of MS Word, MS Project, Excel, and Office Outlook.
7. Full UK Driving License.
