PA / Office Manager
A brilliant opportunity for either an experienced PA / Office Manager or a talented Graduate to work as an Office Manager & PA to the CEO, joining a market-leading disruptive software technology firm in Saffron Walden. The successful applicant will play a pivotal part in managing day-to-day operations and supporting the business through an exciting period of growth. You will be starting a highly varied and exciting role that has the potential for fast progression down a number of paths as the organisation grows.
Location: Saffron Walden– Ideally fully onsite, but scope for 1 or 2 days per week remote for the right candidate
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 for a new Graduate - up to £40,000 for experienced
Requirements for PA & Office Manager - Graduate Considered
1. Administration experience within a business setting (if at Graduate level this could come from an internship / summer role etc)
2. 2.1 or 1st class bachelors degree from an internationally renowned University
3. If entering at new Graduate level, you should have achieved at least ABB at A-Level or equivalent UCAS points (please ensure A-Level grades are included on your CV).
4. Proven organisation skills - you can give examples of where your strong organisation skills have proven invaluable
5. Brilliant communication skills - you will be expected to engage with stakeholders - ideally you'll have experience communicating in a commercial setting
6. A motivated self-starter with a problem-solving attitude
7. Experience with Microsoft Office suite
8. Any experience with CRM tools or project management tools would be helpful
Responsibilities for PA & Office Manager - Graduate Considered
1. Provide primary support to the CEO, managing daily activities and overseeing essential business functions to ensure smooth execution of projects and meetings.
2. Combine hands-on administrative tasks with business management, gaining exposure across all areas of the company’s operations, from business development and fundraising to team leadership and product strategy.
3. Deliver high-level administrative assistance, including diary management, meeting scheduling, and email handling for the CEO.
4. Support daily operations by coordinating with internal teams and external partners to maintain a smooth workflow.
5. Monitor and track progress on business projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
6. Manage communication and relationships with stakeholders, investors, and clients.
7. Arrange travel, accommodation, and event logistics for the CEO and other team members as needed.
8. Prepare materials and assist in organising board meetings, shareholder reports, and strategic updates.
9. Offer insights and assist in strategic decision-making to help the CEO prioritise time and resources effectively.
10. Handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
