ROLE SUMMARY
The Dispensary Associate is responsible for guiding a customer on their journey into cannabis by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects. In this role, you will need to be knowledgeable enough to speak to customers about various products and their effects while providing excellent customer service. The primary function of a Dispensary Associate is to facilitate a customer’s purchase per State regulations, while providing an exceptional customer experience.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers
2. Provide empathy and compassion to patients
3. Provide the TruExperience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge
4. Assist Assistant Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy
5. Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manor
6. Follow Trulieve Policies and Procedures
7. Work directly with the LOD/Reception to enhance the customer experience.
8. Assist customer with any product or device issues.
9. Work with leadership and management to find solutions to customer issues.
10. Document customer issues and concerns on the customer’s profile
11. Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift
12. Any other task(s) as assigned by Management

Additional Responsibilities as Delivery Associate:
13. Verify products on the manifests match the products in each delivery before leaving the facility.
14. Communicate clearly to the customer, deliver product on time and safely.
15. Maintain records for each delivery in accordance with state and federal law, as well as company policy.
16. Process orders in the POS system and complete dispensation during each delivery.
17. Keep cash and products securely locked in the green bins stored in the trunk of the vehicle.
18. Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicles and all related equipment, putting in repair requests with management as necessary to maintain safe operation.
19. Relay customer feedback, including concerns, complaints, damaged deliveries, returns, and competitive knowledge whenever it is presented.
20. Monitor and evaluate safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment
21. Represent and uphold TruValues while facilitating in store-to-store transfers, patient deliveries, and service requests.
22. Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record
23. Any other task(s) as assigned by Management
Additional Responsibilities as TruHost:
24. Follow Waitly guidelines and TruService Plan
25. Provide excellent customer service by displaying welcoming behaviors
26. Interact with customers waiting in lobby
27. Charge iPads at the end of the shift
28. Clear the wait list of any left-over customer names at the end of the shift.
29. Confirm the Waitly notification texts are accurate.
30. Assist with cleanliness of the lobby and showroom
31. Any other task(s) as assigned by Management
Additional Responsibilities as Reception:
32. Follow Waitly guidelines and TruService Plan
33. Keep all office supplies in the reception desk stocked and organized
34. Notify the appropriate person when more supplies are needed before they run out
35. Ensure the lobby television is on and functioning properly
36. Receive all shipments and mail. Notify leadership or management upon receiving them
37. Keep mini fridge stocked with water
38. Verify the customer’s information is accurate and up to date with the customer
39. Notify leadership or management when non-company personal has arrived to complete assigned tasks and sign them in as a visitor
40. Any other task(s) as assigned by Management
Additional Responsibilities as Online Support:
41. Assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2-hour timeframe.
42. Ensure the accuracy of product in order prior to POS
43. Ensure the ability of patient to purchase product in order prior to POS
44. Maintain a sense of urgency and be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
45. Follow and uphold all policy and procedure per SOP
46. Follow lawful order of direct supervisor
47. Maintain a flexible work schedule by assisting in other departments when needed
48. Any other task(s) as assigned by Management
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
49. High-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or in a similar field
50. Must be at least 21 years of age
51. Prior experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus
52. Must have prior cash handling experience
53. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels
54. Must possess excellent people skills and be able to communicate effectively with others in both verbal and written form
55. Must be able to work effectively without supervision and in a team environment
56. Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion
57. Able to understand and follow written/oral instructions
58. Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely
59. Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment (computer, laptop), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices
60. Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties
61. Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record to fulfill the Delivery Driver role
62. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background record check
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
63. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure requirements of this position can be fully met. Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies. Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people in the facility.
64. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
65. constantly required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, including confined spaces; accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public; observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices; frequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., product, packaging, tools, office machinery); push/pull objects up to 50lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50lbs; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self and/or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl);
66. occasionally required to remain in a seated position.
WORK SCHEDULE:
67. Up to 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
