An experienced UK Credit Controller is required by our client a Food Distributor and Traders based in London. The UK Credit Controller is responsible for managing the Trade Receivables. The role entails different Credit Control and Account Receivable duties in a fast-paced and Multi-Currency environment. The main duties are allocating cash receipts, reconciliation of bank accounts, chasing customers for overdue receivables, responding to customer queries, resolving account queries and managing debt recovery where necessary. The main responsibilities: Allocating cash paid in different currencies. Updating cash collection reports. Chasing daily amounts due from customers via email and phone and keeping all comments up to date on chase up list. Approving and releasing invoices/credit notes as required. Ensuring customers are within their approved credit limits and payment terms: Applying for Credit uplifts. Updating Contacts on FBSS for approved Credit Applications/Credit Uplifts. Responding to customers and other department queries. Updating the chase up lists with remittances. Sending clients statements time to time. Contract changes. Suspense account reviews and postings/clearing up. Payments by deductions (Hauliers/Warehouses). Confirming Bank details on phone with clients for Refunds. The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Business Degree or equivalent and have extensive experience with Credit Control. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is a must.
