We are recruiting for a Medical Secretary to provide a full medical secretary service to The Adult Eating Disorder Doctor.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing a high quality secretarial service to the Team Doctor and his/her medical team.
2. Maintaining confidentiality at all times and sensitivity when dealing with contentious and complex information.
3. Responsible for supply and security of prescription pads.
4. Co-ordinating and organising action arising from correspondence and ensuring prompt and efficient response, as required, by the Team Doctor and Junior Medical Support Staff.
5. Responsible for up-to-date maintenance of diaries for the medical team.
6. Maintaining waiting list to ensure clients are seen within key target times.
7. Attending meetings, taking and transcribing minutes, following action notes and disseminating information as required.
