They are the leading specialist in the fire and security industry, installing and maintaining fire and security equipment and systems to a wide variety of new and existing customers throughout the UK.
Responsibilities:
1. Communicating with customers to book engineer servicing visits at customer sites and dealing with any general queries in a professional and timely manner.
2. Calling customers to agree servicing visits for delayed and outstanding appointments.
3. Strong and clear communication with the engineering teams.
4. Schedule engineering resource efficiently, minimizing travel time and wasted journeys.
5. Managing the service engineer's diaries and ensuring that the service levels on maintenance contracts are maintained.
6. Where appropriate, ensure that all engineer documentation and paperwork is processed and electronically filed correctly.
7. Updating customer databases with the documentation they require (certificates of inspection, quotations, equipment lists).
8. Planning maintenance and callout activities with engineers in a way that optimizes the best and most efficient use of their working time.
9. Scheduling / Booking of maintenance to meet contractual requirements.
10. Scheduling / Booking of monthly emergency light testing appointments.
11. Inputting of service and callout data onto computer service database.
12. Collation and distribution of weekly diaries/works for engineers.
13. Support to Account Managers through the administration, creation, and coordination of Service remedial quotations.
14. Management of weekly testing schedules, including the ongoing administration of the testing folders, contract checks, updating any site issues, access difficulties, equipment faults, etc.
To apply, you must be used to working in a busy environment and must be able to be a reliable and assertive member of a busy operational team. It's also expected that the candidate will have a good understanding of commonly used Microsoft Office applications. Hours:
39 hours a week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm & Friday 8.30am - 4pm.
