Job Title: Security Services and Support Manager\n\nLocation: Ealing, West London\n\nHourly rate £26.04 PAYE / £34.59 UMB Per Hour\n\nContract Length: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)\n\nWorking Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 35 hours\n\nASAP Start\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead and develop a team of Security Team Leaders, Security Officers, Security Controllers, and Reception Staff.\nEnsure compliance with training objectives, SIA licensing requirements, and Council policies.\nManage resourcing within budget targets, ensuring sufficient site cover at all times.\nProactively manage staff sickness and absences, conducting return to work interviews and remedial actions.\nEnsure staff receive and maintain correct uniform and equipment.\nOversee first-line contract management activities, including SLA scoring and QA monitoring.\nAct as the single point of contact for event security planning and resourcing.\nComplete and maintain H&S risk assessments and method statements.\nBuild and maintain effective internal networks, responding to security and crime prevention matters.\nLead response to security-related or emergency incidents across the corporate estate.\nProvide on-call cover one week in three, attending site if required.\nSupport the Head of Security and cover duties of the Security Operations Manager during absences. \n\nKey Performance Indicators:\n\nTime keeping, deportment, and appearance of staff\nCustomer service and feedback\nStaff compliance with security policies and procedures\nTimely communication and escalation of security incidents\nStaff resourcing within budget targets\nContracted service SLA compliance\nLow staff attrition and sickness levels\nTraining and licensing compliance\nAccuracy and timely completion of logs, records, and reports \n\nPerson Specification:\n\nExperience managing security staff in a busy public-facing environment.\nExperience with 3rd party contract supply management.\nStrong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.\nProficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Explorer).\nExcellent time management and prioritization skills.\nAbility to undertake dynamic risk assessments and incident response.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nExperience leading security team responses to incidents and emergencies.\nAbility to resolve customer complaints with a flexible, solution-driven approach.\nProactive problem-solving skills and initiative.\nKnowledge of current Health and Safety legislation and practices.\nUnderstanding of Data Protection Act. \n\nQualifications:\n\nSIA Door Supervisor Licence\nSIA Public Space Surveillance License\nHSE First Aid (training can be provided)\nMaybo Conflict Resolution Training (training can be provided)\nLevel 4 award in Supervisory Management (training can be supported) \n\nAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
