As our Team continues to develop its services in the communities that we serve, we are keen to appoint another team member to deliver high standards of holistic, individualised care and support to our patients and their families. As a Clinical Specialist you will be part of a multi-professional team, holding your own caseload and will work closely with health/social care professionals in the community, hospitals, and Acute Trust to ensure that patients requiring end of life care receive this in an integrated, timely manner. You will also work closely with the Hospice at Home team and In Patient Unit and may on occasion provide cover to these services if required. We are seeking a Level 1 registered Nurse or registered Paramedic, with a minimum of three years post registration experience, preferably with experience gained within the community. Palliative care or oncology experience is essential. You should be able to work autonomously and manage a caseload, with support from the multidisciplinary team. A palliative care or oncology qualification and/or a non medical prescribing qualification would be desirable.
