Overview
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and be able to work well under pressure.
Duties
1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
2. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
3. Follow recipes and presentation specifications
4. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
5. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen workstation
6. Assist with food inventory and ordering as needed
Skills
1. Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in a restaurant or food service setting
2. Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
3. Understanding of food safety practices
4. Ability to work well in a team environment
5. Strong communication skills
6. Attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience and Qualifications
1. Line Cook 1 year (preferred)
2. Cooking: 2 years (required)
3. Licence/certification: Food Handler Certification (required)
4. Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
5. Education: Secondary School (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.55-$17.55 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
