We are pleased to be working with a great company that is growing and looking to increase the sales force with an experienced BDE.
THE ROLE:
1. Managing and growing sales with existing customers / Key accounts.
2. Taking orders by phone / emails - processing sales orders and arranging dispatch in coordination with the warehouse team.
3. Raising replenishment purchase orders to suppliers to maintain required products on the shelf.
4. Good knowledge of Sage.
5. Willingness to learn about the product & market.
6. Resolving customer disputes/issues regarding quality expectations, product shortages, damages, and any urgent and late delivery issues.
7. Ability to generate leads, contact prospective customers via phone, email, and visit them as needed for business development and other business matters.
8. Prepare & submit sales reports as desired by management.
9. Be part of developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs.
10. Providing daily reports of field sales success and communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to superiors.
11. Demonstrating good sales-management skills to work in a B2B environment.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must have B2B product-sales knowledge and experience of handling/managing key accounts.
2. Willingness to travel at least 1 day per week to visit customers for sales development, attending sample trials, seeing products in function, etc.
3. A confident communicator with a can-do attitude, with a polite but firm telephone manner and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and service providers.
4. A commercial, common-sense approach.
5. Ability to operate at pace under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality and accuracy.
6. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
7. Recognizing the importance of attention to detail, yet awareness of the bigger picture.
8. Special remarks: Candidates with experience in the packaging industry will have an added advantage, but it is not essential.

The role will suit those with entrepreneurial flair and a desire to work their way up to the top through hard work, success, and innovation.
