What the Job Involves As a Call Handler/Responder for Carelink, you'll be a crucial part of the team providing 24/7 monitoring and support to Telecare users. Your shifts will be overnight from 23:00 to 07:00, ensuring consistent service coverage throughout weekends and bank holidays on a rolling rota basis. Duties include handling emergency calls, responding to incidents at service users' homes, and maintaining Telecare equipment. You'll manage administrative responsibilities and ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of client data. Operating from the Gatehouse in Derby, your position is both office-based and requires travel to client homes, with your own transport provided. This role is available for a 12-week period, offering full training to the right candidates, and presents an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those wishing to live independently.
