Job Description:
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Belfast, Northern Ireland area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers.
The long-serving Care team offers nursing care for those with complex medical needs, as well as respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and inspire the team to deliver special experiences to residents, promoting choice and independence.
2. Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience, ensuring adherence to company policies and care plans.
3. Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards of care, staff welfare, and training.
4. Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the resident’s quality of life.
5. Deputise in the overall management of the care home, including production of reports, budgets & Quality of Life monitoring.
6. Take responsibility for health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others.
7. Ensure team members attend training days and courses to maintain learning records.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Experience of managing a team and ensuring appropriate supervision and efficient running of the home.
2. Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
3. Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code.
4. Experience in the healthcare sector.
5. Driven, motivated, and committed to quality care.
6. An energetic, committed, and approachable manager.
7. An inspiring leader who can motivate teams through passion and commitment.
8. A natural networker with both internal and external stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £23.00 per hour, totaling an annual salary of £46,644 for a permanent full-time role of 39 hours a week. In return for your commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
