Job Overview
To deputise and assist with the ongoing development of the Mental Health Services on behalf of the Mental Health & Learning Disability Division and Local Authority (LA) within a scheme of delegated authority under the direction of the designated Community Services Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Professional, such as a Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Psychologist, with significant experience in Mental Health. The role involves providing leadership, ongoing review, development, and operational management to a busy team in Wrexham.
You will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, proactive, and committed to promoting innovation in service delivery. Promoting prudent healthcare with a clear focus on the 'Together for Mental Health' Strategy is a priority for the Mental Health Team.
Main Duties of the Job
* Assume continuous responsibility and accountability for delivering and maintaining high-quality, evidence-based care.
* Work autonomously to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
* Provide specialist care and advice to patients, colleagues, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
* Develop a culture of continuous improvement within an integrated team, ensuring a safe and appropriate skill mix to meet patient care needs.
* Lead and manage the team, delegate tasks, support, and supervise staff in the delivery of care.
* Establish excellent working links with interface services, referrers, and internal mental health colleagues.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, with a proactive 'can-do' attitude. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
