If so, we want to hear from you About the Role We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team, providing essential support and guidance to unaccompanied young people as they settle into their new environment. This role involves direct engagement with children and their families, ensuring they receive the care, resources, and assistance they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities Provide direct support to unaccompanied young people and their families. Build trusting relationships and offer guidance to help them navigate their new surroundings. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the council’s electronic system. Follow all policies and procedures, including safeguarding and escalation processes. About You Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable groups. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding policies. Understanding of the challenges faced by unaccompanied young people.
