This organisation has grown significantly over the past 12 months, following new ownership, and so the role of a Financial Accountant has been created. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing and developing the management accounts function for 3 subsidiaries, Including BS and P&L reconciliations and variance analysis Preparing operating cost budgets for all 3 entities Preparing VAT returns for the UK entity and ensuring statutory declarations are completed accurately and on time for all 3 entities Assisting with ERP system implementation Assisting with audit and tax queries Ad hoc reporting Assisted by Accounts Assistants who would do the clerical work for all 3 entities About you The successful candidate will be seeking a career opportunity with ambitions to progress as the role and company expand. Desired skills and experiences include: Relevant education Either ACA, ACCA or CIMA part qualified/ qualified Experience of finance within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing accounts and supporting information Credible and trustworthy Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel Focused on systems, processes and controls to ensure that risks are minimised and processes are scalable as the business continues to grow Professional level of communication in verbal and written form
