Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Fitness Manager that loves to work with children and bring joy into their lives. You will lead our fitness team and drive the success of our curriculum, our children and our programme. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for fitness, a love of children, and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and clients. As a Little Gym Trainee Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our members.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the fitness team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to promote fitness programmes and increase membership.
* Supervise daily operations of the fitness centre, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to foster a positive environment.
* Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance their skills in customer service and sales management.
* Manage scheduling for fitness classes and personal training sessions to optimise member engagement.
* Monitor team performance metrics and provide feedback for improvement.
* Engage with members to understand their needs and promote retention through exceptional service.
* Maintain knowledge of industry trends to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
Qualifications
* High energy, motivated and passionate.
* Proven experience in retail management or sales management within the fitness industry is preferred.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
* Experience in supervising staff and managing performance metrics is essential.
* A passion for health and fitness, along with relevant certifications (e.g., personal training or group exercise).
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
