Senior Technical Architect
Salary: £50k - £56k

An established multidisciplinary practice offering consulting, design, engineering, management, and construction services is looking for a technically biased Architect.
They are a friendly, enthusiastic, and highly motivated multidisciplinary Design & Construction company looking to grow their teams to meet an increased demand in the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Laboratory, and Manufacturing (GMP) sectors. With a high-profile portfolio of projects that are complex and highly serviced, usually in the UK with the occasional overseas exception.
With an in-house technical, design, engineering, procurement, project management, and construction team who collaborate, it allows the practice to independently take projects from start through to completion.
This is a great opportunity for someone with specialist experience looking to progress and become an integral part of an expanding team. You will get the chance to help develop a business whilst gaining more responsibilities to progress within the architectural department.
Your technical expertise will be crucial in delivering exceptional results, and your architectural experience will be valued over specific software knowledge.
The Role:
You will be running projects individually or working as part of the team. On larger projects, you will act as a Team Leader managing a team of 2-4 persons depending on the office workload and your abilities. You will be working across RIBA stages, and actively supporting the BIM Manager with technical work.
Ideal Experience & Skills:
1. Qualified Architect or Technologist with 10+ years of professional experience working in the UK, and 5+ years of practical experience with Revit.
2. Excellent technical skills with demonstrable experience in highly serviced, complex projects.
3. Confident presenting and being in a client-facing position, from establishing briefs through the stages.
4. Thorough understanding of planning and building control requirements.
5. Ability and flexibility to work across multiple projects to achieve set deadlines.
6. Demonstrable hands-on experience of the required software.
7. Friendly and conscientious, with strong spoken and written communication skills.
8. Multidiscipline teamwork, collaboration, and leadership experience.
9. Specialist design skills applicable or transferable to project type.
10. 3D CGI talent (a bonus!).
11. Valid UK driving licence.
Essential software: Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, MS Office suite, SketchUp
Desirable software: Navisworks, InDesign, Photoshop, 3D Studio or similar.
