Location: Surrey and West London
Type: Permanent full time (37.5hpw) working remotely and in the community.
Pay: circa £25,000 per annum [pro rata] and great benefits including Health Cash Plan!

As our Community Housing Assistant (CHA), you’ll provide face-to-face customer support to our communities. Typical day as our Community Housing Assistant
* Engage with customers and proactively support our estates, getting to know our communities.
* Support housing managers in maintaining their areas and improving local neighbourhoods.
* Assist with managing void processes, including liaising with local authorities and contractors.
* Conduct and record routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities.
* Manage administrative tasks including updating records and arranging payments for work done.

You bring
* A “can do” positive attitude, with proactive and well-organized skills, able to work on your initiative.
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help customers.
* Confidence in collaborating with colleagues and external partners.
* An understanding of housing management, housing law, and universal credit would be ideal, but not essential.
* The ability to use technology to navigate systems and update customer records.
* Willingness to spend much of your time working alone in local estates.

Job details
* This is a hybrid role; in an average week, you’ll work from our communities in Surrey and West London.
* Although you’ll often be in our neighbourhoods, we meet regularly as a team.
* There may be some flexibility to adapt your working hours; please discuss this during your interview.
* We mainly work Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings to meet customers. You’ll be able to shape your own schedule.
* A vehicle insured for business purposes is required; we’ll pay your mileage!
* A Standard DBS check will be required, and we will cover the cost.
