Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clerk of Works to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality and compliance with project specifications.
2. Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to provide expert guidance on quality control issues.
3. Prepare and submit detailed reports on site conditions, progress, and compliance with quality standards.
4. Identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions to project timelines.
5. Monitor the implementation of best practices in construction quality management.
6. Ensure that all safety and regulatory standards are maintained on-site.
Qualifications:
1. Relevant experience in a Clerk of Works role or similar position in the construction industry.
2. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficient in report writing and documentation.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. A relevant qualification or accreditation is preferred - CABE, CIOB, RICS or ICWCI, MCIOB.

Job Type: Freelance
Pay: £24.00-£28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7.5 – 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
