You will lead our Early Help Pathway which encompasses our Mental Health Support Teams and Parent Infant Mental Health Services across five boroughs in Greater Manchester - Stockport, Tameside, Oldham, Rochdale and Bury. Our Mental Health Support Teams work into primary and secondary schools, colleges and other educational establishments helping children and young people who are experiencing low level emotional and behavioural difficulties such as low mood and worry. We aim to help them reach their full potential by offering the right support in the right place at the right time.
Our Parent Infant Mental Health Services work with babies and their parents to support the understanding and development of those relationships. They work closely with colleagues in maternity and health visiting services.
Your role is to strategically lead and develop these services across the Pennine Care footprint ensuring the best level of care and treatment is provided by working closely with colleagues in the ICB and Local Authorities.
Main duties of the job
1. To deliver effective, efficient and high quality services in accordance with commissioning specifications and within the available resources.
2. To support opportunities for new developments and business for the Trust and any expansion of CAMHS services in collaboration with the Care Hub Triumvirate; in line with the CAMHS strategy and NHS Long Term Plan.
3. To ensure systems and processes are established and operating effectively for service development, planning, financial and performance management.
4. Work in partnership with CAMHS ICB Commissioners, NHSE, LPC, Local Authorities and other local service providers to ensure the primacy of local and high quality service provision.
5. Develop and sustain networks and positive relationships across Greater Manchester, regional networks and localities to ensure the visibility of PCFT specialist CAMHS.
6. Represent the CAMHS Directorate at a senior level regionally and locally across a range of agencies.
7. Oversee and manage the interface between CYP pathways and key internal and external stakeholders such as AMHS, LA.
8. Be responsible for interpreting relevant regional/ national policies and drivers, including their impact on the strategy for CAMHS and services delivered to children and young people.
9. To be sighted on emerging operational risks and proactively manage them in partnership with service leads.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
* Educated to masters level (or equivalent) in relevant area
* Qualified and registered RMN/SW/OT
* Post graduate training relevant to mental health / leadership / management
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Management / leadership qualification
* Other relevant clinical qualification
Experience
* Demonstrable significant experience as a senior clinical practitioner in mental health
* Management and / or leadership of mental health services
* Clinical experience in a range of mental health settings
* Delivering service / practice innovation, development and change
* Knowledge of financial management and systems of budgetary control
* Track record of leading, motivating staff teams and of developing a performance culture
* Participation in local and regional professional forums
* Experience of managing integrated teams
