Job Title: Fire & Building Safety Surveyor\n\nLocation: Barking and Dagenham\nRate: £30.48 PAYE and £39.42 UMBRELLA\nTerm: 6 months\n\nAre you passionate about fire safety and building compliance? Join our team as a Fire & Building Safety Surveyor! We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to oversee fire risk assessments for our properties, ensuring the highest safety standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nConduct detailed fire and building safety surveys, contributing to a comprehensive property database.\nProvide expert advice on property condition, identifying and resolving fire safety issues.\nPrepare detailed specifications and feasibility studies for necessary works.\nLiaise with fire authorities to ensure compliance and timely action on deficiencies.\nMaintain effective communication with staff, residents, and stakeholders, ensuring top-notch customer service.Essential Skills:\n\nNEBOSH fire qualification or equivalent.\nRICS accredited degree plus a postgraduate surveying qualification.\nProven experience as a fire/building surveyor in a maintenance environment.\nStrong knowledge of building regulations, codes of practise, and the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.What We Value:\n\nUnderstanding of equalities and diversity legislation, alongside GDPR and data protection laws.\nAbility to work flexibly and manage budgets effectively, ensuring value for money.\nA proactive approach to identifying improvements in service delivery.If you are ready to make a difference in building safety and compliance, we want to hear from you!
